To our valued customers,

As we continue to monitor the many developments about the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we wanted to make you aware of what we’re doing here at Midwest Prototyping to ensure uninterrupted service to our customers.

One of the most important parts of our business is the health and well-being of our employees. In addition to encouraging common health-maintenance practices, we have stepped up cleaning efforts at our facilities to minimize the spread of any germs by frequently sanitizing shared surfaces.   We are following the guidance of the WHO and CDC, including requiring employees who become ill to remain at home until they are healthy again. These practices have been instituted at all of our facilities in Wisconsin and Colorado.

We are maintaining an excess of material stock for our machines to function without disruption, and we are in contact with our major suppliers and vendors to understand any potential risks. Should we run into a material shortage or shipping ban that could potentially cause a break in service, we will work closely with affected customers to devise alternative solutions to satisfy their needs.  For the foreseeable future, this is not a risk for us.

MWP values the relationships we have with our customers, and we’re committed to maintaining our high level of service during this unique situation. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us at 608.437.1400.

Sincerely,

Steve Grundahl

To our customers:

We have received many inquiries from across the country concerned that Midwest Prototyping might be closed due to the “Safer at Home” order currently in effect in Wisconsin. Midwest Prototyping is a manufacturer of “essential supplies and infrastructure” working with health care and government contractors and is required to remain open at this time.

Although we have made substantial changes to operations to minimize the risk of spreading COVID-19 and re-allocated resources to provide medical PPE manufacturing to aid health-care workers, our machines continue to run and our AM staff continue to fill your orders.

Thank you for your understanding during this difficult and unprecedented time as we adjust "on-the-fly" to the latest information and government directives and recommendations.

Sincerely,

Steve Grundahl
